Service Description:

Personal Meal Prep - a customized, in-home, health-centered meal prep service for those who are always on-the-go, facing health challenges that need nutritional support, or just wanting healthy home made meals ready to go on a regular basis. All meals are whole food-centered, with minimal to no processed ingredients or major allergens.

Scheduling & Cancellations

MPCNH (Meal Prep Chef NH) requires a one month commitment to start. Service is provided on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. After the first month commitment, if the client decides to continue service, the weekly or bi-weekly day/time agreed upon will be that client’s “spot” until a 2 week notice is given to skip a week of service. The client is paying for a personal chef to prepare customized meals as well as their regular spot on the schedule. This means that no one else will be scheduled on that day/time in any future weeks unless the client notifies MPCNH about skipping in advance (as described above). This allows enough time for the space to be potentially filled.

If the client cancels within 1 week of service, they will be charged 100% of the price of the service for that week.  Special circumstances will be evaluated as such.

If the client cannot maintain their scheduled meal prep days per month for more than 1 month, MPCNH may discuss moving the client to the waitlist for single week openings. A single week opening is a single spot that becomes available if a regular client needs to skip a week. Then, that single week opening is offered to the waitlist. Weekly and bi-weekly spots are for those who need/want a regular meal prep service only.

There are currently no “once a month” or “as needed” scheduling options.

​

If MPCNH is not available to prep on one of the client’s regular scheduled meal prep days, the client will be notified at least 2 weeks in advance. They may or may not be offered an alternative meal prep day for that week, depending on the chef’s availability. If the chef has to cancel for any reason the week of service, the client will receive no charge.

​

In order to permanently discontinue service, a 1 month notice is required.

​

There are two different service time windows for meal prep clients: Morning (9:00am-1:00pm) and afternoon (1:30pm-5:00pm). The chef will not be there for the full window, but can be expected to arrive and depart anytime within that window. The client will receive a text notification the day of with an approximate ETA.

​

Menus

The customized menu presented to the client is designed, to the best of the chef’s ability, to be an ideal list of meal options that fit the client’s needs for 3+ months. The chef may periodically update the menu with items that they find meets the client’s dietary needs.

​

If at any time the client feels they would like their menu completely upgraded, they may request it via email and there will be a charge added to their next payment for the menu upgrade service. The chef is happy to evolve with the needs of the client to the best of their ability.

​

Client Responsibilities

The week before each service, on Monday, MPCNH will send an email reminding the client of their next meal prep day and to choose their meals from the provided customized menu. The client is asked to send their meal choices by Wednesday, giving the client 2 days to make their choices.

​

If the choices are not sent by Wednesday, the chef will plan to prepare the same menu from the client’s previous meal prep. Grocery lists will be provided before the weekend, giving the client at least 2 full days to grocery shop.

​

On meal prep day, the client is asked to have their kitchen counter and sink clear, enough containers washed and ready for use, and room in the fridge for all the prepped meals.​

Pricing

Pricing is determined by the client's dietary needs and location. If the needs and/or location of the client change substantially, the price may be adjusted with notice.

​

Payment for the month is due on or before the first service of the month. This allows for both the client and the chef to plan ahead for scheduling and finances.

​

Starting flat rates for basic packages are as follows (Note: each meal serves up to 4 people per week): 2 Meal Package - $200/week, 3 Meal Package - $250/week, 4 Meal Package - $300/week, “Skip” Week - $50/week

​

The above pricing structure is intended to hold the client’s spot in the schedule. These spots are intended for those who want a customized meal prep service, regularly, and they are difficult to fill short notice as a single week service. Therefore, for any skipped weeks, the client will be charged a “skip” week service fee in place of their full regular weekly charge to hold their spot.

​

There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes when the chef isn’t in your home that isn’t charged for. This pricing structure allows MPCNH to offer a consistent high quality service that their intimate client base can rely on.

​

Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, check (made out to Meal Prep Chef NH LLC), Venmo (plus a transaction fee of 1.9% + $0,10).
